Never Forsaken

My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from my cries of anguish? Psalm 22:1 esv

God will not abandon us in our time of greatest need. In verse 24 we read that God will not hide His face, and that He hears our cries for help. This is most evident in the death and resurrection of Christ, of which this passage foretold.
